After a delightful lunch at Harpy’s Café, our exploration extends to the Community Baboon Sanctuary in Bermudian Landing. Here, you’ll witness the collaborative efforts of local communities, women’s groups, and subsistence farmers dedicated to preserving the habitat of Black Howler Monkeys along the scenic Belize River.
Since 1985, the sanctuary has seen a remarkable increase in the Howler Monkey population, now thriving between 3000 and 4000 animals.
